Here's the best, a 4 lb. smallmouth, on a grub in 6 feet of water near Mill Creek. Also caught several largemouths on topwater lures early in the day.
Seems like you gotta work for them this week.

That is what I'm talking about! i have two goals on my trip: sight fishing and my regular fishing will try to focus on smallmouth. They are a special fish, we don't get to catch those around my neck of the woods.
Just look at that tail. No wonder those smallies always kick your butt. They are built
for power for sure. Good catch!
