Agree here also. Not only are they strong, but Joe will make sure that they will fit. His customer service is excellent. The cheaper ones may not fit properly.

I put one of their single steps that hangs below the tube because the three step set of Trick Steps I transferred over from my previous boat had the first step up a little too high on this boat. The new single step self-clearenced on my back bumper when I had to make a hard right turn thanks to some jackass being in the way making me have to swing it hard. Guess I don't need that hitch extender nowStill no regrets putting that extra step on and my truck is old enough stuff like that doesn't bother me like it used to.

And yes I suggest checking clearance and seeing if you need a hitch extender because YOU WILL have to make a hard right turn or have to nearly jack knife the trailer to swing it at some point.

I got the Omega ones off ebay and the mount would not jive with my trailer configuration. I took to a welding shop and they fabricated a mount that was PERFECT.

Best money you will spend. It will transform your boat. It was a pricey spend, but worth every cent of my hard earned money.

Steps on the side are more ergonomic. Steps straight from tongue to bow make it hard to winch boat onto trailer. Pay attention to step tread height. Some are 10” which is good for old folks like me and some are 12” + which are not so good if you have mobility issues. Pay attention to where bottom step measurement is from bottom of tongue or top of tongue. It makes a huge difference. 1/2 reference from bottom of tongue/frame and 1/2 reference from the top. Confusing as heck. Consider how far your trolling motor sticks out beyond the bow and make sure you let the vendor know that. Some have the bottom step below bottom of tongue/frame. those can drag on a steep ramp or driveway.

My omega steps mounted to the winch tower and it's the perfect set up for my 2017 Triton.

Mounting depends on brand of boat/trailer and after looking at many including the Amazon ones I will be installing the EFX. Yes expensive but then again for me it was all about safety and trusting the build. I'm going on 79 and have a weak knee and balance is starting to be an issue so for a couple $100 + it's worth it to me and my safety. Saying that when you buy from a brand such as EFX you get great customer input and they will be sure to match your trailer with the proper set-up and show you where to install. So yes willing to pay more for their expertise and support.

Put Trick Steps on my old Champion several years ago. Actually the first set that they ever built! For a Champion.Gave them the measurements needed and they installed perfectly. I put them on with someone helping to hold them in place. Around 400$ back then but it is one of the best improvements I have made to my rig. Makes loading and unloading much easier and safer. Nice when getting in and out of the boat when just working on tackle also.

Something to note for fold away trailers, Most can be swapped to fold the other way by swapping the pull pin and the mount bolt so it does not get hindered by your steps.
