Before I drive to my nearest dealer, which is over an hour away, wondering what the real-world difference is between these two models. Wondering about all the aspects of the boats I can't get from the website.
I saw an F205 over the weekend and it looked great, but a buddy says the Predator is a better boat with some features that are difference makers.

I could be wrong BUT I think its the same hull but different top caps are the same. Look for the video when Brian Lattimer is at the factory. He explains it in the video the differences when he went from a 205 to the 20 predator

There are some really good prices on the F205's sitting at the dealerships now, i had to be dragged away before i bought one (holding out for a Vexus), haven't seen a Predator in person, none of the dealers i visited had them in stock.

I have a F205 and I've seen a few F20 Predators in person. My understanding is that the hulls are the same it's the top cap that's different. The biggest difference I noticed was that the starboard rod box extended all the way to the console on the F205. The Predator has a shorter rod box with a day box in front of the console.
It's like buying a truck. Do you want one with all the bells and whistles (Predator). Or more of a base model (F205).
Falcon never responded to my questions, so I ended up driving to our nearest dealer this weekend. They had an F205, 20Pred and a 21TE. They told me what you all had said... the hulls are all the same, just the top cap and then add-ons/packages are different. They seem like nice boats. Thanks.
