It's sad that he's gone but he lived a pretty good life. He designed his calls, spent tons of time outdoors doing what he loved, and had a great family. And now he's in Heaven blastin' ducks.

I read “Happy, Happy, Happy.” It was a good read. Sorry to hear he passed but happy for his arrival in an eternal paradise! Really enjoyed his approach to life. Is he responsible for beards returning as popular? I think so.

Read a neat story about his football career. Said he turned down 60k offer from washington to go pro. He said the season schedule conflicted with duck hunting season and said no thanks. Id say it worked out for him. But how many people have turned down an offer from the NFL? Balls of steel! And lived his whole life like that. Good for him.
