    Didn’t even think to brag

    Friday was our 48th anniversary. Took my wife out to eat catfish. I came home and by bedtime I was hanging out in the restroom with Montezuma’s Revenge. Still a little ify about eating. Wife did not get sick. Wasn’t the food so I must have had a bug. Memorable anniversary! I should just go ahead and get a colonoscopy while empty.

    Thanks I am not going to lie she had to be pretty tough and stubborn to put up with me this long. Don’t need to say too much because she still could get rid of me. Made it this long so I think I go for 50.

    Ah, the 48th anniversary. A milestone marked by love, devotion… and gastrointestinal warfare.
    We decided to celebrate like any classy couple would: with fried catfish and hush puppies big enough to use as doorstops. My wife was glowing, enjoying her meal like a queen. Me? I was unknowingly preparing to host a one-man reenactment of the fall of the Roman Empire — in my bathroom.

    First of all congratulations on your 48 th. I feel your pain as the wife and I were in Cullman and stopped at Johnnie’s Barbecue. My wife had barbecue and I had the fried catfish. I became familiar with every convenience store between Cullman and Huntsville on the way home.
