    Has this board officially died?

I remember when this was the most active state page on this forum. I remember get togethers, tournaments, and breakfasts. Now it's been two weeks since the last post. I miss the old days.

See what I mean, Tim? Seven hours and you're the only one to respond. Stick a fork in it.

I was at work. The tournaments stopped a few years ago because hardly anyone showed up,a lot of work for three boats.

I have to resist posting too much. I already have a reputation as a ****, I don't need another as a Chatty Cathy:

Did Highland last Saturday, started by throwing a spinnerbait around laydowns and stumps in pockets @65 F. Nyet, so tried the same around stumps on points. Nope. Fished a jig around similar cover, and still hadn't moved a fish until I cast it to some emerging lilies in 2'-3'. Picked up several 2-3#ers in short order. All fish were away from cover, on mud flat bottoms in shallow water, picked up the jig without a noticeable "bite". That worked until the clouds started moving out - it took me some time to find them again on steeper banks. Finished up with about a dozen to 3.5#. None had spawning marks on them, I never saw a bed or a cruising fish. I threw that spinnerbait on good cover for 2.5 hours at least, and never moved a fish with it.

Fished Northwood Sunday - same temp, a little clearer sky. Started up dirt shallow and got on some spawners right away with a F9 Rap. Got a 4.44# with a red tail in 12", and a few other 2#ers. These fish were all around brush in thin water. Fished towards the dam, picking up one here/one there on the Rap. Those fish were near - but not in - wood cover in less then 2'. No visible LM beds - saw a couple of SM beds right in front of the spillway w/ no fish near them. Finished up with 11 LM with 3 over 3# - all on the Rap, even though I gave the jig, spinnerbait, and F11 Rap a good workout. Wind was up pretty good, so I skipped out without checking out the rest of the lake.

Fished Pierce either midweek, or 2 weekends ago. Got my first Pike. Just a 3# 24" fish. Caught a bunch of decent bass - all in 12" or less on the Rap around wood cover.

Fished today. Water around 57/58. Caught two or three with red spots near chin, looked scuffed. 1/4oz chatterbait and jigs won the day. Very windy and never took of the rain jacket even when rained stopped which it did off and on.

Stuck in Virginia this weekend for soccer so no fishing for me. On a high note my hotel is 600 ft from the Richmond BPS and 2 miles from a Green Top sporting goods. THE BPS is stocked to the hilt unlike Hooksett. The Green Top has a ton of crazy stuff, custom painted swimbaits and custom rods. If your ever passing through these parts it's worth the look.

Busy as ever with work and the kids. Headed up to Lake Erie tomorrow for a work trip, going out to shoot some content for marketing purposes. Aiming for walleye, we'll probably run into some rainbow trout while we're at it, maybe some smallmouth by accident (if I'm lucky) hahaha. Fishing around southern NH has been weird for me, and my trip to Lake Champlain a week and a half ago was awful. I agree with the original sentiment of this post though, I remember when it was always active. But I'm happy to see a lot of people are still here, even if they're nowhere near as active as they used to be.
