I'm in the market to make the jump to lithium batteries for my 112 ultrex. I see all the name brands for xxx dollars but then again you can find some cheap ones for x dollars. Why buy name brand lithium when you could buy a cheaper version for way less?

It's your boat, and your money. I recently violated the "same brand, same era of manufacturing date" rule rather than spend $600+ on three Lithium's when I went from 24 volt to 36 on my T/M. So far, so excellent.
