You’re right, I picked him up immediately as Cook, but after reading your comment I looked again, definitely has a resemblance to Martin in that pic.

I always loved how those older Skeeters looked.

Is that the old bridge? The first time I was on Grand was maybe '92 and I thought they had just built a new bridge.

I drove over Sailboat bridge few times in 2013.

Google AI Overview - Yes, the Sailboat Bridge on Grand Lake has been replaced. A new, modern bridge was built and opened in 2001, though the old bridge is still standing nearby. The new bridge was significantly more expensive and included features like a pedestrian/bicycle lane. The new bridge uses some of the original piers from the old bridge.

Still have one of his Hart Throb spinner baits in the package. Got a picture of him holding up the 1991 Classic trophy inside.

    I have one as well.
There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

I bought a brand new Skeeter just like that. Enduro hull with Mariner on mine. It was a good boat.

first thought I kinda wanted to say tommy Martin or Harold Allen… they all ran skeeters back then… Rick Clunn did too..
You are correct , I have some of those spinnerbaits , called them the Heart Throb . Works too .

Yeah, Tommy was my first thought, but wasn’t quite Tommy. A closer look I could tell. When I read marshman’s post and he mentioned Harold Allen, I thought that’s the other resemblance I was looking for. I forgot all about Harold. Him and Cook always did resemble each other I thought. And you’re right also, those older Skeeters definitely had the look back then.
