    transducer

Transducer on trolling motor broke off at the tabs after hitting a stump. Currently just put a hose clamp around the whole transducer to get it to hold in place. Boat shop buddy asked me how thats working with it blocking the transducer. Is there another way to fix it?

Depending on what transducer you have , try tranducer mounts from transducershieldandsaver.com. Their products can mount your transducer without the transducer tabs or mounts.

Sand the back of the transducer flat, glue a piece of Azek to it with tabs sticking out fore and aft to accommodate clamps. B T W, the "pill" in the transducer is probably only the size of a dime, so a clamp can miss it if it's in the right place.
