Tilt and trim issue 225 2016 sho

So my trim is dead. I hear a click up and down.. but it won't budge. Had to manually release it to go on trailer. There is no leaks in pump. Just won't move now. What is it. Relay or trim motor ?

Disconnect the power feed wires at the relay. Connect them to a battery. See what happens.

Will it go either direction, and not the other?

Depending upon where you place the leads on the battery posts will determine the way the motor will turn.

Tried touching blue and green separately to red on relay and nothing. Also tried directly to the battery and nothing

I bit the bullet and replaced my 250 SHO trim pump last summer with the $600 OE. It was good for over 700 hours so I figured it will be 1 and done! That back bolt is a pain in the@ss
