    FishReveal Post 25.1

Hello all, updated to 25.1. Like some of the improvements I have been able to see.

However, I must be missing something. Running Pro units, and use to use what I thought was the FishReveal with the Active Imaging 3n1 on 22.1.

I had the fish set as red colored pallette(the one in the fish reveal options), and no I only get the same color scheme whereas before I had the contrast.

Wondering what setting I am missing. FishReveal is checked, tried turning on and off several times, different pallete settings..etc. Lots of different things. I was under the impression, and i thought it worked before (I had something for sure) w.out the S3100 box.

Any ideas of settings to try? These are my first lowrance units and one of the things that I really liked was the fish reveal.

    thanks
    Joe

Contrast adjusts the downscan-returns and is in the first menu that opens when you click on "Menu" in the top right corner. This stays the same regardless of Fishreveal being on or off.
You can adjust sensitivity in the fishreveal-options. This does not do anything with the downscan itself, it only adjusts how "hard" any given echo from 2D is overlayd on the downscan-view.

not clear on what i should do here. I did adjust those settings a bit, now granted i have not went extreme one way or the other but everything appears the same color, which i would think i should get different colors from the palette i chose,. for example if i am running amber in my main color, then o go to fish reveal and choose the red one, i should be able to see a distinct difference I would think.

    Ideas?

Fish Reveal is set to 86% so leave it there and set the FISH COLOR to GREEN. The fish will really "POP" with any color palette.

You lose contrast of fish vs bottom when you use 2 colors in the same spectrum like amber and red chartreuse or green for fish and any other other color will give you great differential separation for viewing

The 25.1 update has nothing that I can find in regards to Fish Reveal. With or without 25.1 your Fish Reveal will work the same.
