    limit to prop work

Is there a limit to how many times a prop can be repaired? I've got 2 25 fury that have been reworked at least 2-3 times. I'm wondering if at some point you start losing durability or performance from being worked on so much? Usually just edges cleaned up and cup added.

Yes, anytime they are worked they are generally heated to add cup or bend blades etc., so depending on the type of work done yes. Heating them weakens them. If I see a prop has a lot of nicks and such then I would have it worked, but if it looks good I wouldn't touch it.

How many times would you say is to many? I run a lot of shallow sandy water so generally just adding cup and cleaning up the edges.
