I have a 2016 Bullet XRS trailer made by Boatmate for sale. It has Goodyear endurance tires on it that are about 2 years old, torsion axles with vault bearing system hubs, it was painted 2 years ago, and has fairly new bunks on it. The trailer looks great and pulls great. Up until two weeks ago, it was on the road regularly, but I replaced it two weeks ago.
The reason why I replaced it is because I question its integrity. I had it professionally stripped and painted 2 years ago because of an abundance of surface rust and this is one of three year models of Boatmate trailers that had a serious rust problem. I pull my boat on several 10 hour trips every year and the risk of an on the road failure was more than I was willing to chance. With that said, there is almost no rust visible showing anywhere on the trailer and it has given me no indication of having any kind of structural issues.
The second issue with this trailer is that the brakes have a leak somewhere, I believe it is in a tube. I have seen no indication of a leak anywhere, but it leaks down when you are driving. It stays full as long as it is sitting.
For the reasons listed above, it is being sold as a parts trailer. What you do with it is your business. Let me know if you have any specific questions or want to see pictures of specific areas.
