Totalscan Trolling Motor Mounting Options

I just received an Elite FS 12 with the totalscan transducer. I plan to mount the unit in the bow. I know the SideScan won’t be ideal but I’m really wanting to put it on the trolling motor. Any good and reasonable price point options? I hand a Minn Kota Maxxun with universal sonar.

I’ll be adding active target 2 as well now that they’re on sale.

i could be wrong but with active target up front I dont think that you really need side scan up front

I’m going to say yes I won’t need the side scan. However I would still like to mount the totalscan. I guess I’ll procure a mount off the web.

I have a HB 988 (?) or 998, with SD& DS on my TM, but it's a totally different xducer. Both work fine for my uses, and just used the HB mount.

Because of the skeg location on the Maxxum I don't know of any mount that will work with the totalscan xducer. At least not in the traditional way (under the motor itself).

I found a trolling motor transducer mount unit for $89.99 from Russel Marime Products.
The Memorial Day sale had a 10% discount.

I had a totalscan on my trolling motor. I used a Precision Sonar mount. I have went to the Lowrance so I don't need that set up anymore. I actually have the mount & transducer listed in the classified section

I received the Russel Marine Products mount. It was super easy to install on my Maxxum. I’m satisfied.

I apologize for my post about the mount not working on your trolling motor. I should have realized when you posted that you had a Maxxum Pro since you stated it had a US2 transducer. It wouldn't have fit the standard Maxxum.
