My x350 cuts a one acre yard. Absolutely no problems. I don't have the bagger.

The John Deere X350 is a solid choice, especially if you're stepping up from the S240. It offers better build quality, a more robust frame, and superior steering and transmission — ideal for your ¾ acre with slight inclines. The 42" deck is great for maneuverability, and if you're considering a bagger, the current $300 rebate sweetens the deal.

If you're choosing between the S240 and the X350, most users lean toward the X series for long-term durability and smoother handling. Given the positive feedback from long-term owners, it’s a smart upgrade for residential use with light slopes.

Thank you for everyone and their comments. I am definitely going with the X350

I have an X320, 48 in. deck. It has a bagger that has a motor that runs off the deck belt. 22 hp Kawasaki motor. It’s about 10 years old. Only trouble I had. The battery went dead and I was in a hurry to mow. Put the charger on and didn’t want to wait for charge. Put it on booster. Wrong thing to do. Needed a new ignition module. Won’t do that again. Has been a good mower

I bought a new 2016 Cub Cadet XT2 LX42 KH (7000 series 22hp) in 2017. It has K46, currently 356.3 hours in [8+ years], ran good today, haven't checked or changed hydro fluid. Mow only, mostly flat yard.
