HDS Live 12 - Display Issues

Good morning, All

This past weekend, 3 times my Lowrance unit lost display and the screen looked like a bad computer acting up.

The attached photo is not the best for clarity. If I powered off and back on, the unit would still be streaming the altered display and flashing. If I disconnected the power cable for a few minutes, the unit would return to normal and perform fine. One of the times, I also left the unit in the faulted state running while I towed home (10 minutes), and the unit had kicked back into normal display (gps mapping even recorded the mapping trail). Any ideas what the issues may be, before I contact Lowrance??

Side note: all the updates are current.

It could be a loose display cable or has some corrosion on one side. You have to open it up and make sure the cable is seated well or is not corroded.
