Cooper ProControl Tires, who has them?

Would like to know if you are happy with them especially if you have them on an SUV. I have a 24 Grand Cherokee and there's a local dealer selling a set that are take off's. The customer didn't like them so I'm hesitant to jump on them. At $500 it's a good deal.

The wife just had a pair out on her Nissan Murano. Have not driven it a lot yet but so far so good. It is her winter car so we shall see in a couple months. They may ride just a bit stiffer than her oem tires, not sure what they were. But a good quiet ride, but not sure on tread life. I would say if you get them cheap, go for it.

Why would the dealer discount them so much? Cooper has a 45 day road test where the dealer can get all of his money back plus labor on mounting the next set.

Because by the time he does all the BS paperwork and sends the tires back. Quicker, cheaper, easier just to sell as take offs.

How many miles on your 2024 Jeep that you are looking to replace tires? What brand are on there now; unhappy with them?

I have tried a few other brands but end up going back to cooper/Goodyear. That is the next set of tires going on the wife's car. My personal truck and my shop truck both run them. Cj

I bought Michelin CrossClimate2 tires for my 2014 Highlander SUV with AWD, they are all-weather tires because I hate doing the winter tire change-over and don't want to spend money on rims, TPMS sensors and bother with storing and installation. They have a smooth ride and great wet road traction.

Nitto , Cooper, Michelin are the only 3 brands I will run. Always balance out with very little weight and seem to last the longest.

Michelin Primacy, they're fine, I just don't like to pass up bargains. I also have a 2021 GC with the same size tire.

Tried Coopers one time. The worse tire I’ve had.
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

This is what always impressed me when I was installing Coopers, very little weight needed and run along time without a rebalance. My shop truck has almost 50k on the set of tires on it and I will get another 20k out of them before I replace them before winter. I think I have only rotated them once but good wear and no rebalance needed yet. CJ

I've always had good luck with Cooper. I'd absolutely buy them.
