Pangrac and Stefan Master Angler Trip?

I stopped listening to BTL sometime after these guys planned the trip. Can someone fill me in on if it happened and how they did? I follow both in instagram but never saw anything about it. It sounded like a pipe dream but would have been fun to follow along if they did it like they said they would.

I think they both earned 1 MA. I think it was a crappie but I'm not 100% sure.
I really liked the idea and hope they try again this year.
It was a lot harder then what they thought it was going to be. They bothe estimated they'll have several a piece by the trips end. That didn't happen by a longshot and they were absolutely exhausted on a few of the updates

Pretty much summed it up. They did both catch a crappie that was big enough. I think they thought they had a good plan in place, but once they got into it they really didn't.
It sounded like a fun time though and it honestly made me think about doing something similar with a buddy.

Thanks for the summary. I couldn’t understand why they thought it would be as easy as they did when they were planning it. I couldn’t tell if they actually thought it was or if they were trying to convince themselves, or just drum up interest from the viewers. It would be cool if they made it a year long goal and just met up for a few quick trips in prime areas throughout the year.

They need to do it again, but focus on 2/3 species instead of all the species because I think it effected their fishing time.

I think Panger had a trailer issue that cost them over a half day of fishing, but it was interesting listening to them. I like both of those guys' podcast/youtube stuff so its always interesting to tune in.

This MA saga made me sign up for In-Fisherman magazine, which I read more than Bassmaster or BASS Nation now.

I have tried multiple times to listen to BTL with Pangrac, I really wanted to listen because he drops them regularly & has great guests. But I can't make it more than 10-15 minutes into an episode.

Ya, the original plan to get all of the species was a bad one. I think it was a classic example of "Oh man I catch huge (bluegill, catfish, striper, etc..) all the time!". But when you actually break out the scale or the tape measure its an entirely different deal.
