    Check your PCV system on the 2014 it may be your problem. If not, and if you change your oil like you should, you have shit luck. If it was me I'd see how bad the leaks are. if it's less than a quart in 1500 miles, and it isn't painting the back of your Tahoe, drive the damn thing like it is, it's cheaper.
    Keep your 76. Get it rebuilt with a good Holly 4V F.I. system and new manifolds. I would not put a cam that promised 340 HP out of 350 C.I. I'd buy a towing cam that developed higher torque at lower R.P.M.
    Since your 2014 hasn't eaten the lifters, it's a good motor. Enjoy it.

    I'd fix the Tahoe.
    For me I'd do most of the work myself though.
    I tow a lot and recently bought a 2024 Jeep with low miles and I actually like my old 12 year old Jeep better.
    I do not like all the new technology.
    The thought process for you is how much you drive and how far you drive.
