    Mercury repower question

    2007 300xs 1E002730
I’m looking to repower from 300XS motors to 300 Pro XS 4 strokes.
my assumption is that most should be plug and play, I have Uflex steering which should swap over.
my current optis are all smart craft, I have zero analog gauges, running vesselview to simrads. Will this not swap over to the new motors. My only issue is current motors are cables and new motors are Dts, so I know new controls are needed. What else could be missing or am I over looking.
    Thank you

You can pretty much throw out your keyswitch harnesses, controls, cables... those will all be replaced with DTS.

Did you think about the 300 ProXS DTS model instead? That should be doable... extension harnesses, rigging tubes, some fuel line changes and mounting hardware, plus props.

Also been wondering about this Don. Currently running a 2016 250 Pro XS.
Been wanting to go to a new 300R here soon so I can get the sportmaster gearcase.
Also have a hot foot currently, how does that work?
Is there a good hot foot available for the new technology?

Just have to stick with the same platform-type: Mechanical or DTS.

As for the hotfoot question- that needs to be in a separate thread with it's own engine info and images/info on the hotfoot.
