Crickets on the Smith Lake accident.

Anybody heard anything? It would appear charges aren’t being filed at this point. Strictly opinion.

I was wondering about this as well. Haven't seen a single thing about it after the initial dust up

Someone mentioned how quickly we forget and move on. Who will admit they haven’t thought about it in a while?

I would think motor and graph telemetry would tell a lot. Terrible accident.

This always happens….. a big story, bunch of speculation and discussion, limited actual or factual details, promises of more details to come…. And then, nothing… we never hear what really happened…

Having done this for 42 years, time is your friend during these investigations. No one is going anywhere, so no rush if filed. Defense teams will have years during the different trial phases to find one simple thing that was over looked and/or missed.

Complex lots of things to cover and how to present it. Cases to study. Getting the right witnesses and professionals to agree to be questioned in court.

I'm sure the guilty party is sweating bullets worrying what the future holds for them but time will tell.

This will be the worst three years in their life as on any given day they can receive a civil or criminal subpoena or indictment. It is the not knowing and waiting that really eat on you.

Heard flint is basically screwed. Charges will be brought on him. MLF is in the clear ( according to my insider ) because so much go pro video proved there wasn't any fog.

His FB page hasn’t been touched, update or commented on since this stunt either. I looked him up the other day to see if anything had been said or any new/current post made and nothing.

Naw can't be right. This was going to change the future of tournament bass fishing. Maybe even make them extinct! Or at the very least require everyone to be in 18 footers with 1fiddys.
