I just started making my own personal Jigs, and bought the Pencil skirt tool, from LUREPARTSONLINE.COM. Got it the other day, and wasn't quite what i expected. I was expecting the sharp pencil part would be threaded on to the hollow part. Are there any manufacturers that make them with the threaded end on them, or is their a reason that they don't?

Why would you want it threaded on? It is only used to put the o-riing/band on the tool, and then it is removed.
