A new 2025daiwa Tatutla split cork review

I bought a 7'3 med/hvy fast in the new line up yesterday. I had planned on throwing chatterbaits on it, in fact I did a little yesterday. Caught 3 and one 4 lber on a jackhammer. The rod is very sensitive and handles the chatterbait well. The one thing I can't get used to is the 15 1/2 " handle. It wasn't smooth roll casting and made a bit cumbersome for short casts. The rod is light, power and action on point. This rod will be best served for bottom contact. I will give my brent ehler 7'3 multi purpose rod a shot at chatterbaits, it sure cast better from what I can tell. Overall, Daiwa did a great job with these new split cork tatulas. I now own 2. 7'3 mh fast and a 7 ft m/f for square bills.

There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

    Hi Mike.

Great line of rods for the money. I liked the old ones too, especially the cranking rods. Really nice moderate tapers.

I'd give it some time, I got used to my 7-3 rods with the same handle length. If you want shorter looks like you gotta bump down to a 7ft rod. The 7-3 rods have taken the place of the 7ft all purpose rod in my arsenal.

I love the Tatula rods. The old ones at least. I like a full grip. Haven’t looked yet, but did you notice if they make the new ones in a full cork grip? I just don’t like the splits.
