ActiveTarget 2 - What is needed for 2-AT2's

    Hi there,
I have 1 AT2 unit now networked with my HDS Live 16 and my Carbon 12. I am considering a Pro, but am wondering how I would be able to network everything.
I have both HDS networked together and the AT2 is networked to my Live 16. Can I just hook up the 2nd AT2 to a new Pro and then connect the Pro to my Carbon? Would this allow me to gain the new views on the Pro that you get with 2-AT2's?

Can someone tag Marc as my guess is that he knows the answer?
    Thanks!
    Jesse

While you may have a physical cable going from the AT2 to only one HDS, if the other HDS is also connected to that HDS via Ethernet then all units are on the same network and all are visible to each other and can share and display the same images. I have not used two AT units but as long as it is connected to any HDS unit that is on that network, then all HDS units will see both AT2 units. Where the Ethernet cables are attached is irrelevant. Any device that is connected via Ethernet will be networked with all other devices on that Ethernet network. They are all connected to each other via Ethernet.

There are a couple of scenarios' where you can make this work and sync them both with or without adding the HDS Pro. Head on over to the Lowrance Forum and they will set you strait.

I appreciate the responses, but my real question is whether I can get the additional 3 views on the Pro that Lowrance shows when you have 2 AT2's networked together. Is there anyone who has a similar setup who can confirm they get the 3 new views (Forward +Scout, Scout Wide, and the 180° view). My concern is that Marc mentions in an installation video that he is using the network expansion port, but maybe he is only doing that because he has 2 MFD's instead of 3 like I would have.
