    36v 100 ah battery tray??

I asked this earlier about 24v but it turns out my trolling motor was 36v. That seems kind of weird but I bought it from someone who didn't know and there was no battery. I bought a 36v 100ah lithium battery for it. It is 21 inches long by 9.5 inches wide. How are people installing these huge batteries in their boats?

Actually, after posting this I found bass boat technologies and ordered a tray from them. It never showed up in a google search. I ended up seeing it mentioned on another forum. They are mentioned on here allot but not regarding battery trays.

Thats a larger than normal battery, you might consider returning it if possible and getting a group 31 size 36 volt.

I thought about that but I didn't buy locally so I would have to pack it up and ship it back which is more trouble than its worth. Its actually not as big as some of the big name lithiums if you look at the list. I realized the battery was overkill when I used it all day last Sunday and it was still at 90%. I could have easily gotten away a 60ah.

Probably dosent need a tray , trays protect for lead acid

You could just put down some gator skin rubber so it dosent slide and screw down couple hoops and ratchet strap it down

I built a battery tray for my third 100 AH Lithium. Used stainless screws and Azek. It looks pretty good, bought a new strap.

Azek is pretty easy to work with, not sensitive to acid and doesn't absorb water.

That is what I should have gotten but I didn't know any better. It would have saved me money. I have another boat that has a 24v motorguide xi5 on it that I am going to replace the 2 wet cell batteries with a single 24v lithium. Definitely going with a 50ah.
