I started to type something specifically to you about Norris. I made the run from the iBig Sycamore ramp on 25E, to the dam, to the Helm’s Ferry / Kilgore Marina, and back. I didn’t go back to the dam on the return, so that cut a few miles off.
That was a LONG run, even for me. Knew I’d have to refuel at least once, whether I put earplugs in and ran it WOT, or drove the little 115ProXS at 10-12mpg. Sure is hard to drive past that many miles of shoreline and make less than 100 casts all day. There’s a bit more lake on either end of that trip in order to see all 800 miles of shoreline, but I drove past more than half of them, for sure. Norris is huge!

Yes 20-25 minutes out and come on back.
You aint kidding that's a long run. I like to go from Brogans ramp up to Indian creek, which is a little further than Big Sycamore. One of my favorite spots to fish is close to Big Sycamore.
