Got taken on wireless tail lites

The lack of sympathy and empathy on here anymore is amazing. Some of y'all must walk on water. Not everyone is tech savvy and can spot scams as easily as someone who might see them more often.

To the OP, I hope you get things figured out and your problem resolved. It sucks to be taken for a ride.

I guess my comment about the lack of sympathy or empathy is about being a considerate human being more than anything. It has nothing top do with being adults VS children or being coddled. The guy made a mistake and posted about it and others were belittling him for making a mistake. I am glad and happy that none of them have ever made a mistake. Before you say "well then he shouldn't have posted about it", my guess is he did it as a warning to others and also to share his experience among like minded individuals where he could have hoped for some to understand where he was coming from.

It's just not that hard to be a kind, considerate, or empathetic person......but it's something that I think allot of us fail to practice anymore.....esp when sitting behind a keyboard.

Yeah I've seen them used a few times. I almost bought a set myself a year ago. Every time I'd pull someone else's trailer the lights didn't work.

Please tell me what brand or model car has wireless taillights? It is not a thing. Except on ebay or amazon junk aftermarket gimmicks. No OEM would ever put junk like that in a mass produced vehicle.

Oh ffs. Not a single person mentioned oem but you. It’s obvious these are for an aftermarket application and yes they do exist, several links in this thread, you just made yourself look like a fool stomping up and down saying they don’t then moved the goal posts. They work well for their intended application.

I mean not only did you not notice a scammy site, but you fell for an invention that does not even exist. Why in the world would anyone need wireless taillights. Would you also order a car with a bluetooth driveshaft, or wifi shifting? We all need to stop searching the internet for solutions to problems that dont exist.

They do exist, each has it's own battery, put the plug in your receptacle and it sends the signal to the light. But I would not buy them on fakebook. Tractor Supply has them.

IT came in today, what did I get, ONE taillight that has to be hard wired in.

Nothing new.......... They've been selling these for tow trucks when using the tow bar. I have had a set now for years. (not from Amazon though and they weren't cheap)
