I just finished watching the elite at Toledo bend from 2016. Got my fix and I am ready to hit the water Saturday and just fish shallow throwing moving baits and flipping cypress trees. God bless you all
Feider came in 10th and Hackney came in 11th at Fork, beating 90% of the field who had the ability to use FFS. Lowen won at the St John’s throwing a swim jig. Hackney won the NPFL at Norman throwing a finesse worm. John Cox has 3 or 4 top 20’s in the last 14 Elite events, he usually sticks a rod over the side of the boat to check water depth. Dude who won the MFL at Chickamauga/Nickajack was throwing a buzz bait.

The whole crying about FFS deal is getting tiring. Absolutely nothing is stopping you, or anyone else from flipping cypress trees, throwing a yellow spinnerbait to bushes, or sight fishing bedding fish.

Not picking at you specifically, if I was fishing Santee this weekend I’d be wanting to skip a wacky worm or pitch a soft plastic around cypress trees as well.

Fish the way you want. Some guys like throwing big glide or swimbaits, I don’t care to, doesn’t bother me in the slightest what they’re doing.

Have a great weekend, let us know how you did. I’ll sadly be working in the ICU.

I don't believe most people have that much hate for it when watching people fish on television....

FFS is good at showing fish turning their nose up at your fake bait

Is that small spot with someone already on it really worth finding out the hard way they don't like company? Keep it a mystery and go somewhere else.

I was only suggesting people watch older tournaments if you don’t want to watch FFS derbies. I tune in to most all you tournaments for a few mins to see who is leading. I don’t watch any of them live all day.

I agree with VA's perspective on FFS and it's nice to see a normal opinion.
Although the unnormal opinions like whopperplopper are the best.
    I unnormal a word?

I hate chicken gizzards. I will even get up and leave the table if somebody is eating them.

For some reason people misunderstand me or want to just have confrontation. I have come to the conclusion that FFs is not something I want to try, not something I enjoy watching and I do not think it is a good thing for bass fishing as a whole, but in no way am I protesting it here locally. I am not calling for a ban or arguing with people that are willing to hear me out on why I do not think it's a good thing. I will listen to people that love it and think it's a good thing for bass fishing. Like I said, in the end I truly believe it will work itself out and the dust will settle. I believe that technology is a great thing until it's not. In this case I believe this technology has gone too far and is not good for the moral fiber of bass fishing along with many other things I see. So my solution was/is to not use it, not watch it, and fish the way I have always fished and let other do as they please just like every other aspect in life. But yet, it's the internet, it's a bass forum and boys will be boys.

1 major bonus to guys out using FFS is there are less boats up shallow and less boats banging docks. Should lower the pressure on those fish and make fishing up shallow or along the bank better.

In my case I agree! So far I have learned what not to do but haven’t had much success with it. It is amusing though!
