I don’t understand how betting on your team to win could ever have been considered unethical. Shouldn’t every player and manager pull for their team to win. Betting on them to lose would be no bueno obviously. Man deserves to be in HOF in my book.

Yes , he passed Sept. of last year . He certainly was a HOF player . They may put him in . The man that banned him Bart Giamatti , died about a week after he banned Rose . Actually Rose agreed to the ban to stop the investigations proving he lied and bet on baseball . Still he has the stats , all time great career . There are players in the MLB HOF that bet , did peds , lied before and after congress , there are some character flawed people in the HOF . A man told me one time , dont get to close to your heroes or get to know them too well . You may not like what you see .
