Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks Counter

• In the Waypount, Routes, and Tracks tool in the Nav Menu a counter for the number of Waypoint, Route, Track, and iTracks has been added to the top bar of the tool.

Support for the Humminbird AS ETH 5PGL Ethernet Switch

• The new AS ETH 5PGL Ethernet switch is supported by this software update. While the prior AS ETH 5PXG switch is still supported, the AS ETH 5PGL contains upgrades that allow support for much larger One Boat Networks. Minn Kota Quest Trolling Motor Battery Monitoring Support

• With this software update for HELIX, in conjunction with the 2.200 or newer software update for Minn Kota Quest motors, a new Battery Monitoring Tool is included to keep track of trolling motor battery usage in real-time. For more information visit Minn Kota’s Quest Motor Technology page.

• On SOLIX G3, software version 3.900 or greater must be installed prior to 4.210. No damage will occur if 3.900 or greater is not installed, but the update will not be successful.

Has anyone tried to load all the different unit updates onto one SD card to update multiple different units lately? Used to be an issue but I haven't seen it addressed lately. Sick of all the SD cards. I still don't trust OBN enough to use it. Update please. no biggie.

The updates are much more streamlined on the Xplore, Apex, and Solix G3. Unlike the earlier generations of Helix, there aren't all the different variations. You can put multiple updates on a single card for different models and the unit will only "see" the one that works on that specific unit. The old concerns about having multiple updates on a single card, just don't apply any more. It doesn't hurt anything to do it the old way, but it also doesn't hurt anything to combine multiple update models on one card.

xplore 5.100 update..i think i screwed up..first,i didnt remove the card that came in the xplore.i went threw the motions and saw the update load into the app.i can see on the app it says installed software 5.060 and available update 5.100..for some reason i dont think the update tranfered from the app to the unit?do i need to install a blank msd card?should i delete software?..please advise..thank you

Just want to be clear. You are trying to use the One-Boat Network Mobile App to do the update and not using a computer to transfer the update to a SD card... right? If you are trying to use the One-Boat Network Mobile App, then yes, you need a blank 32GB or smaller SD card (formatted FAT32) in the unit to transfer to. I say "blank" but it doesn't really have to be blank, but it shouldn't be any kind of mapping card. I would remove any other SD Cards in the unit and only insert the one you are trying to transfer to.

Yesterday I tried to install the latest update to my Solix G2.... it froze trying to download the update and screen went black and it never came back. I tried power off and then a hard reset and nothing but power on and black screen. I had to ship it to Humminbird yesterday afternoon. Very disappointed. I knew better than to try the update this time of year.

Not working for me on Apex.

HB also says known issue with Lakemaster VX cards not recognizing in slot 1. They sent me a replacement with same results.

In my case the Legacy cards, particularly Smartstrike are not playing well with the Apex
