Are electronics connected to trolling motor batteries or cranking battery?
That would be the cranking battery or, as in my case, a second battery that has my three graphs and the AT only on it!

Most guys I know have a cranking battery, and then a separate battery dedicated just for the electronics in todays boats. Draining the cranking battery when you are a long way from the dock is not good news.
Cranking battery works fine for me. But I have a big one

Using trolling motor batteries is not recommended. Too easy to get interference.

Cranking
Cranking battery.

I added a second battery just for the electronics so I have two of the Duracell AGM's 31's!

I have a separate IONIC 12V-60Ah just for the electronics.
If you have Active Target you need clean power.
Otherwise, the starting battery is fine. But....these graphs draw alot of
power. I can view my Ionic amp draw with my phone blue tooth.
At some point, you might need to grab a trolling motor battery to crank the big motor and get home.
Been there - done that!
Definitely cranking or dedicated. I actually put two lead acid's in parallel and have pretty good performance from that set-up for a long day of fishing and "recharge" from big motor if needed..
But, if you do use your cranking in the mix, make sure you have a jump start device with you as well, just in case. Well worth the low cost.
