Just looking for how high everyone is running the motor on an atlas 10” jackplate. Are you guys 1,2, or 3 holes down?

always moved them to the 3rd hole down but if you plan on running lithium might as well leave it in the 2nd hole because will end up running jackplate lower anyway

No lithium for me but I only have 3 batteries back there now.

Where do you set your plate for your holeshot?

you are going to run pretty high all the time 15 or 16 for hole shot and top end but depends a lot on the prop if its a 25 T-2

Ok that makes sense, agms on the 2nd hole and prev owner would launch at 20 and drop to 16. Prop is 25T2. I’m gonna try my Suzuki 24p 4b. Same specs as a bravo 1 24p

So I am still on hole #2!? Launching at 20, then dropping to 16 and trimming. I was running 66 in 1-2 chopp trimming to get a feel. It calmed down a bit on my way in so i sent it full biscuits. Right a 68 I got the chine walks!!! I said " dont be a wuss, hang in there". I couldnt however wrangle it at my novice state so I backed off. I know, seat time!!! I am gonna drop a hole though, its so weird to me to launch at 20?

should not be necessary to take off that high unless you are in shallow water, 16 to 20 not going to change holeshot that much, dont drop a hole, the 3rd hold would be raising not dropping, SHOs like to run high, P2P 2 1/2" or less

its very hard to make a 919 walk with a SHO unless your P2P is to low or you are trimmed to high to soon, put it on 16 run wide open at about half trim and start bumping it up a little at a time

this is a 919 with a SHO running T-1 VMAX worked by Croxton
