It’s a rainy miserable day here so I decided to do a little research. After five completed Bassmaster Elite tournaments so far, I discovered that 8 elite Bassmasters have not earned a check so far. Seven elite Bassmasters have earned a check in every tournament so far. You may now attack.

does it not show their yearly total winnings anywhere on bass's website? other then going to each individual tournament? Yep always blown my mind how little money a lot of these guys make year in and year out and can keep on competing! Good for them

They all say that . But it is a zero sum game . They are fishing for each others money .
Some of dem boys are really good and others may just need to get up to speed...
Its like a weekly poker game with the same guys. They compete for each others money. Like the poker game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. The money just goes in a circle.
Tourney winnings are like tips…..nice to earn but nobody should expect to make a living off of them. Pro anglers are in in the advertising business ….concentrating on the fishing industry.
Bill Dance still sold furniture, Roland still guided, Hank was smart & realized ‘he was in the advertising business and created a fishing show’.
