THAT IS DUMB AS ALL - I think what MLF did was stupid. Allow it or don't. Personally I am not in favor of banning tech. Oh you can't have FFS, but 360 is OK, Side imaging - No Problem, Down Scan, Maps all good, but not the one that points forward.

NPFL banned it to be different, and good for them, they are trying to build a trail. Would have thought good ol Randy would have joined, but he is afraid to get is ass kicked the old school way too, proving that he is all about clicks and youtube $$$ than actually fishing. This debate is a tired a POLITICS................................

Yeah I loved the ORIGINAL MLF TV shows. Show up, drive around and fish. That was a good format

Did you see how the scales were jumping as much as a half a pound every fish they weighed. Multiply that by 102 scales and 102 different people weighing them. Only reason they did it was because of Fork and the slot. Heck I would love to see them fish Fork straight up with TX regulations with the slot just like the rest of the tournament that fish Fork

I also noticed they were using a hodge podge of old Brecknell scales also... Had this conversation before...Those scales take a while to lock a weight, even a lot tougher if the boat is not steady. But if you believe the weigh in scales at most tournaments, including theirs are any more accurate... Just watch how many bags come out of and into the scales that are dripping water and how every 6 or 7 weighs they drain the box and there's water in it... In the BPTs when they weigh fish multiple times, 1/4 of the time I'd guess they'll be a weight change... It's just part of it, either way you weigh them.

Limit the use of FFS. As suggested above maybe alternate days or only can use it 1/2 each day. I get so sick of the screen staring and I like using FFS, but most of these guys do it all the time. Looked at the gallery of Tyler Williams fishing. He was glued to his screen in every photo except when he was landing a fish. I could also go for no weigh-ins. They are mostly worthless and are hard on the fish, and I wouldn’t need to listen to the portly Canadian scream “GGGiannnnt Bass”. Has become really annoying.

Go to some tough lakes where the fishing is hard every once in a while or fish some events in the fall. I liked the fall events during Covid. Those were grinder events. Most of the stuff BASS goes to are smash fests.

Only commenting on the harder lakes. Would love to see MLF, fish The St Johns in August when the shrimp are running. No issue with fish in the livewell with their format.

Only real men fish when it’s hot! The p’s go up north into the cooler weather. Would have to do the weighing on the boat in the summer. Those young bucks could handle it.

I don't care one way or the other about what BASS does with FFS, but since change is coming for next year here is what I would like to see. Just alternate days, but to somewhat appease the FFS haters do this:

Day 1 - No FFS
Day 2 - FFS
Day 3 - No FFS
Day 4 - FFS

Now you might say nooo that's backwards NO FFS on Championship Sunday.....Well if you make them fish without it on Saturday you give all the non scopers the "advantage" to make it to Sunday so you might also have guys not relying on it on Sunday too. Where as Vice versa let all the scopers qualify with it Saturday then take it away Sunday you might be watching a very boring Championship Sunday since all the haters say they can't catch em without the cheater box.

Hey I'm perfectly fine with it staying like it is. That's not going to happen though. They are going to make changes to limit it. I just feel like that's a simple strait forward solution that should work for everyone. I just don't want them making some crazy BS like you can only use it for so many hours a day, or every angler gets to choose what days or hours they want to use it etc etc.

Anglers would always have to plan on catchin with and without FFS.

Agree 100%. How many tournaments you guys where half the field gets paid?? None I would assume. I know I’ve never fished one. I always thought that was silly. Hell make it 1 in 4 and that still pays down 25 spots. Adds another 250k to the top 25.

Bring back Megabucks with the hole format on the final couple days.

I enjoyed that format as well. made the anglers put a strategy behind the time of day they fished a hole, especially considering the pro that fished the hole prior to them
