Im a Deegan fan but more i watch him i loose some respect, but still want him to win

I know that"s racing and what was on the line but the way Deegan was catching Davies and the momentum he had i believe he could of made a clean pass with having 2 laps left, after all he said he wanted to show everyone he is the fastest 250 guy

    Looking forward to the Outdoors

IMO Deegan knew what he was doing...like it or not and was not going to pass Cole without "taking a shot at him".

While we were watching the race I told my son that since Deegan was closing, he was going to take Cole out and set him back and hope that it's far enough back to win the championship. That's exactly what happened. Deegan could have made that pass without contact.
I finally got to watch the mains last night.
Deegan 100% did that to Davies intentionally. If you watch you can see Davies is high on the outside and Deegan entered the corner low on the inside. All he had to do to make a clean pass was to turn down and he would have had it. But then Davies would have been higher than 5th, which is what Davies had to finish 5th or lower for Deegan to have the title.
Deegan 100% punted Davies out to clinch the title that night.
He is an aggressive rider. But he's a cocky arrogant entitled ***** in my book.
His podium speech as well as the after race interview show that as has every other time he's in a similar position.

Fans have gotten soft. Stuff like this used to be a regular thing.

LOL...I'm all for rubbing is racing, I've done more than my fair share of it, but give the consequences of that move and the "what if's" leading into it put it under a microscope more than most moves like that.

Deegan, and every other rider you saw out there, did not get to this stage by being passive. These guys have fought tooth and nail most of their lives. I don't think most of us can fathom the will, desire and competitiveness that a professional athlete in any sport has endured to get where they are. If you want the fastest rider to win without any variables, race one guy at a time on the clock.........boring. Yes, I share most opinions of Deegan. But no matter how his path to the 250s happened, he has put in the work. You can't have a Jimmie Johnson without a Kyle Busch. Much more entertaining when they are not all clones. Very impressed with Webb. His consistency reminds me of Dungy, a lot of guys won races while he won the championship.

That’s because Webb knows what he is doing. Davies wouldn’t have been on the ground if he would have checked up or leaned into him. Deegan had a wheel on him and at that point you have to realize he’s gonna make the pass. Webb is a lot smarter and has more experience. Davies will learn.

He pretty much did. Webb checked up and leaned into him because he knew it was coming. That’s what more experience gets you.

Finally got to see the Denver race.

Deegan fanboys can apologize for him all they want… doesn’t change the fact that he’s a silver-spoon, arrogant, smartass punk.

He 100% took Davies out (and it was a LOT more forceful contact than what Chase put on Coop).

Someone or several someones will straighten his ass out if/when he takes that BS to 450s.

You do realize that you can execute a block pass without making contact right?

I get it...rubbing is racing and when it's back and forth and good racing, it makes it very exciting to watch. When one rider zeros in on another rider and shoves them off the track, especially when they could have easily made the pass without doing that....makes it kind of shitty in my book. I am more of a....let the throttle and my riding talk....not my elbows and handlebars. Y'all saw Tomac show Jett the fast way around a sand berm at A1?

I agree 100% with Brian....Deegan is a spoiled little brat. Does he put in the work....sure he does, you can't be at that level without. But he needs a huge does of humility and be grateful for what he has. It's obvious that he didn't get those virtues from mom and dad.

Made plenty of block passes and had plenty of them done to me during my racing days...

Ray Guy would've been proud of Deegan's move.

Congrats to Webb on winning his 3rd title. The 250 was a wild race. Hampshire is an idiot.

Hamaker got a screw job, RJ didn’t have the line to pass. If you’re not fast enough to get around someone keep racing don’t wreck each other. That was stupid !

I’d like to see Roczen, Tomac, Stewart , Barcia, Anderson retire. Get some fresh talent in there. I’m not a deegan fan but he & Jett are the future Stewart & Carmichael. Hope it lasts a few seasons.

Pretty good season overall, even with all of the attrition, which has kind of become the norm for this series. I wish there was a season where everyone could stay healthy and competitive right up until the very end.

I'm not ready to see those guys retire. Tomac still has blistering speed, just didn't get to show it for very long. Stewie is such a fan favorite and Roczen is just gritty and never gives up...there's plenty of reason for them to stick around.

Congrats to Coop and Tom....Deegan can just suck it.

    Onto the nationals!!!!

I think its fair to say, no matter East or West, the 250s were the show this year. I enjoyed watching both classes from start of year to finish, but I'd be lying if I was to say I didn't look way more forward to the 250s. I am looking forward to having all the 450 guys healthy, and the inevitable Deegan and Jett battles in the years to come.
