Ozempic for the last 3 months. Lost 27 lbs and am down to my ideal weight now. Cholesterol came down 40 percentage points. It completely removed my desire to overeat. Never got hungry. I could eat a steak, it’s just that I only wanted a small part of it. The only time I got nauseous was when I overate. I’ve changed my eating habits completely. No snacking, no processed food, no alcohol during the week, and small portions of everything. I suppose we shall see if they are a “lifelong commitment”. I highly doubt it but I’ll be a good science experiment. Don’t plan on taking it again, so my new habits will need to maintain what I’ve attained. I actually kind of like feeling a bit hungry between meals.
As for cancer scares, there was a slightly increased risk of very rare thyroid cancer in animals. Never shown in humans but the warning exists. If there is a history of these rare cancers in your family, best not to take them. That’s hardly convincing evidence
