Question SV Spool Inductor Ramp - Coastal 150?

Question as I believe I have a broken inductor ramp on my Daiwa Coastal 150. I was frog fishing over the weekend and had a bad braid dig into the spool. While fishing after the reel made a small, weird whirring sound every cast, but worked fine. When I got home, I took it apart and two very small black plastic parts came out when I removed the spool. It looks like they may be from the inductor ramp part that sticks into the spool, but hard to tell.

Does anyone know if these inductor ramps are universal or are there special ones for this model reel? It looks like many are white, but this inductor ramp is black.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I would check the schematic parts number and order the part(s) specific to your reel, as the inductor ramp can vary from one model to another.

dragon1, Unfortunately the parts diagrams show it only as a part of the spool assembly. The spool is z02-4996, no separate part number is given for the induction ramp. I might end up buying a new spool, we will see.

I'll do some digging around for you and ask a couple of tuners about this.

    Here's a couple of options:

"That ramp could just be superglued back into place. Superglue and baking soda is incredibly strong."

And The Tackle Trap has some spool ramps...you may want to send Gary/Bronzefly a PM.

TackleTrap or THKustoms can help you out.

I'd probably just buy a new spool and be done with it.

PS: Based on the year / model, it could still be under warranty. So it could be covered.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

No they are not universal. I had this happen to my 17 Tatula SV from bomb casting frogs trying to brute force the heavy braking profile. I got the Aliexpress Rays Studio inductor base and rotor but was not able to fit the Ray's base to the spool. I ended up just super gluing the old broken base to the spool shaft. It's just the little pegs of the base that clip into the spool that break off. 99.9% of the base remains intact and can be just glued on. I think I prefer this over the clip on assembly honestly.

Keep in mind that you want to disassemble the Air Brake down into the base ramp and top ramp with the rotor and glue the base ramp on by itself and wait until cured before fitting the rest of the assembly so there is no risk of gluing everything together.
