I have a 2002 Triton that is having some issues with the trim UP switches from the boat (bow, throttle and blinker) does not work with trimming up the engine however the up works on the motor trim switch itself. Also, the down trim works fine from all locations. Any thoughts?
Problem is in wiring harness.

Thank you, which harness? In the boat or motor? Are there typical connections that will be problematic?
Engine harness. I’m no expert but I would look for a poor connection in the vicinity of where the shifter connects to the engine harness.
Triton wiring diagrams (off triton website) are pretty standard…..my tr196 harness is identical to the trx harness diagram) shows that the bow trim switch connects to the engine harness.
