Pulled apart my throttle to fix the connections on my trim switch. Now I can't get the wires coiled up correctly so the throttle doesn't bind up. What's the trick, short of cutting the excess wire?

Tightly wrap wires around a round screw driver shaft and slide the coils off.

Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Just smile and walk away.
If you can, move red wire under tab/ or inside of handle to come out with the green wire. Place wire around large portion of handle center as you hold almost in place. PATIENCE !!!
