Chester County Bass Masters held their 2nd of five Points Opens for the 2025 season on May 3rd out of Anchor Marine in North East Maryland.




76 Teams showed up on warm spring Saturday in search of a 5 fish limit of Upper Bay black bass.

56 five fish limits were brought in.

4 teams had 4 fish


16 bass over 4 pounds were weighed in.

10 bass over 5 pounds were weighed in.

4 bass over 6 pounds were weighed in
43 boats participated in $ 60 option pot which paid 3 spots.



The winning boat is eligible for the Power Pole Captains Cash contingency cash if they are signed up for those programs.


They are also eligible for any of the 8 Boat Manufacturer Contingency programs CCBM Opens offer if they are signed up for their boats program. Cash from $ 1,000 to 8,000 from some Manufacturers.


The next Chester County Open tournament of 2025 will be on Saturday, May 24th out of Anchor Marine.

First place cash payout and championship plaques went to Ricky Ewing and Jerry Hodge who won by 2.5 Lbs. over the second place team.

The pair found the right bites to bring in a 5 fish limit of 24.10 Lbs to take home the win and a really nice payout.



The Team also had the Susquehanna Fishing Tackle 2nd Lunker, a 6.29 Upper Bay Hog to take home the $ 100 SFT gift card.

Second place cash went to Steven DiMatteo and Jeremy Boyd. The team put together an outstanding 5 fish limit for this day weighing in at 21.57 Lbs.



The Team also took home additional $$$$$ by entering the $ 60 Option Pot and taking first place cash there.



Their Big fish was 4.94 Lbs.

Third place money was won by Steve Myers and Chris Lang who brought a 5 fish limit to the scales that topped out at 21.56 Lbs. putting some nice cash in their pockets.

The boys also had 3rd Lunker and won a new $ 65 Accu Cull Transom Saver with an outstanding 6.18 lb. bass !

Ninth place and first team out of the money went to the team of Chase Weik and Adam Kurtz who brought 5 fish to the scales for 20.30 Lbs.

Nice points finish towards qualifying for the BTC tournament in December 2025 on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, South Carolina.



The duo took home 75 dollars worth of top lures picked out for tidal waters.

Tenth place was secured by John Vanore and Mike Duarte who brought 5 fish to the scales for 19.97 Lbs. getting great points towards the 2025 Championship top 5 teams and the 5 Bassmaster Team Championship TX berths from Our Open Series.
