My guess is you've probably already tried it, but to bring the brightness back up you just press the power button. Don't press and hold, just a short press. That's how you cycle through the various available brightness levels.
If it isn't that, you could try a soft reset. Not exactly sure how you do it on an Eagle unit, but there are plenty of instructions on how to do a soft reset for Elite and HDS models on line. The Elite and HDS units use the same procedure. You'd think the Eagle would use the same ?
Your eagle is just like the Lowrance Touch the power button go to the pop up menu and adjust brightness.
I turned it on this morning it’s in Spanish and how do I get back to English lol

Go into system settings, and choose English. If you're not real familiar with how Lowrance units work, it might not be a bad idea for your to go to Lowrance's web site to download the operators manual for your unit. Then you can print out the whole thing, which is 79 pages. Or you can print out the quick start pages, which is what I did. I laminated them and kept them on the boat for the first couple of times out, just in case.
For the most part, Lowrance uses basically the same pathways for adjusting the units. They're pretty darned user friendly.
Where did you buy that unit?

Its my understanding that when a Lowrance unit goes into another language it has a lic for that as the GPS or geo fence will not let it do that without the lic to get it back you have to have Lowrance reset or buy the lic for it. I bet someone bought that either with the lic or added it then returned it to BP. I would call Lowrance Customer service to see what they say and act according before your 30 days is up for returns and replacements at the store to save some hassle.
No need to send it back (yet). Do a hard reset, and start it up again outdoors. This will allow you to set the unit up again from scratch, choosing language etc as you please.
Using a unit out of its designated area (or having the unit think so, due to issues with GPS) only leads to issues with warnings and pre-set language there and then. Once the unit is back where it belongs (or thinks so, when the GPS has a lock) it will work as normal again and you can change language and settings as you please.
Well I shut it off because I had to go out for a while when I came back and turned it back on , I was able to see the start up screen which I couldn't before and it was in spanish not english like the 1st time I turned it on and then went black.so I went to english and it seems now everything is as it should be I could set the mph and time and gps all the usual stuff with no problems .So I guess I'm good
