    Tracker Pro Team 195

Thinking about getting out of my 18 TrX and going to the Pro Team 195. Can anyone that has made a similar change tell me what to expect as far as ride and handling etc. I won’t get into why I’m switching.

Tracker Pro TX Tourament.jpgI have the 195TXW 2023 model. The only thing I upgraded was the outboard. 150Pro XS. I really like the boat. It handles well and is very stable at max speed. With just me and gear it runs 61mph max speed.

I came from a Nitro Z-19 to a 2022 195TXW 150 mercury with 24 Tempest prop. 60 mph also. High wind pushes the front of the boat around a little, I upgraded to a Ultrex 24 volt trolling motor. It has good wide front and back deck. I like it, nice boat

I have the same boat and am thinking of upgrading the trolling motor to the Ultrex 24volt. How do you like it and how does it perform on your boat. Also what lb. thrust and shaft length did you go with. Thanks for any info.

Obviously I'm not reelfast but Ive been running the 80# Ultrex on my PT 190 for a few years now, one of the best, most useful additions I've made. I went with the 52" shaft but sometimes think I should have gone with the 45".

The Ultrex is a big improvement. It is the 80 pound with the 50-inch or (52 in. shaft. I installed it using the same holes that were already there when the old troll motor was removed from the bow. It sticks out over the front of the bow about 2 1/2 inches, but it has more power than the original troll motor. it performs twice as good and you have spot lock which I use.
Bass Pro Shop has a good battery cable set up you can buy and wiring diagram.
