    H-D Wind Deflectors

Bothersome wind buffeting around the rider's head/shoulder area is a known issue with some of the Harley touring model bikes, and I was experiencing it on my RK with the windshield in place.

One of the potential fixes I found while doing some research is a set of fork-mounted wind deflectors, often referred to as "fangs".

Found a H-D OEM set NIB on eBay for ~$30 less than MSRP and placed the order.

Gotta admit I was pretty skeptical, but man was I wrong... These things work and work well. HUGE reduction in helmet buffeting up to ~70mph and a substantial decrease above that. Took me all of about 15 minutes to install. Wasn't sure I'd like how they looked, but they're not terrible... I can deal with it for the benefits provided.

    A few shots...

Thanks Hatcreek!! Never heard of them before and just ordered a set off Amazon. Hoping I'll get the same results as you on my Classic.

Thanks and will do! I went with the black since my Classic is black. Those chrome ones really look good on the RK!

    Nice… that was quick!

I think the black looks good on your bike (new tire, too).

Have you had a chance to see if they make a difference on the road?

Thank you, brother!! Front and back are both new. Now to start wearing them down.

No sir, not road tested, yet, but hoping, weather permitting, sometime this weekend.

Yes, the "fangs" do a great job of reducing buffeting. I had them on my Heritage, Ultra Classic and now my Road King.
