    540 toll road south of raleigh

    coming from kinston headed to jordan last month decided to take 540 toll rd where it begins where hwy 70 and 40 meet near garner towed dual axle boat got off at exit to hwy 64 got bill today $82 for that trip if had quick pass would have been half and toll rates where higher comiing back since are affected by peak travel times lesson learned hopes this helps someone if trailer over 22 feet tolls rise

    That’s ridiculous especially since we already pay some of the highest gas and road taxes in the Country!

    I've taken that stretch once. It was nice, but dang it adds up quick. I'm on a different, short stretch pretty often and am seeing more guys drop the tailgate. Can't say I blame them.

    Yep…first time I went to Jordan after the toll road opened the entire way….clipped me for bout 65 bucks but it knocked off a million stop lights and tons of traffic. Save me prolly 30 mins.
