Nice use of the pump access you’re not using. Now if you put its own latch on it and removed the lid lip, you could pop and charge. Better, put a small PC fan flowing out and you’ve got venting and plug access.

It's a convenient spot and I did not want to cut another hole.

It is really not bad to open the adjacent hatch to gain access. I might do a latch but want to wait until I install the power pole one pump on the other side. Hopefully it fits. I'm running 4 lithium's and one AGM which are all sealed so I'm not sure a fan is necessary, although it can't hurt.

If I did it again, I might make the cross bar wider and make a matching hole through it. This was not too difficult to install but could be improved.
