I've run, sucessfully for several years, an Amped Outdoors 60AH deep cycle for electronics and a Ionic Dual Purpose 125AH for cranking with a Yandina combiner to charge. They are NOT wired in parallel since the AMPed Outdoors battery is not rated for cranking. The combiner is a simple solution. When charging I connect my 20 amp Charger to either battery and it charges both batteries via the combiner function. And the combiner will charge the Amped Outdoors 60 ah battery after the cranking battery reaches a 13v state.
Very simple, pretty inexpensive, easy to hook up and works.
