many black football tv personalities are screaming racism. Saying teams passed on him because he is a black qb. Yes number 1 pick was a black qb, nuff said.

Teams do not want to deal with the circus that will surround him.

People are screaming racism and such confuse arrogance with confidence. One destroyed locker rooms, the other builds it up.

No team wants the baggage of Dion that comes with him. They know Dion will be sticking his nose in it and realistically he is not that good he had the benefit of the best receiver in college football.

atleast he'll be prepared coming from a crappy o-line.. kid took a beating, and when i watched he'd stay in the pocket long as he had to and still make passes..will for sure be a different speed and different hits he may not come back from in this league though.. lots of these great QBs come from great offensive lines in college then have a big wake up call in the NFL

he hasn't on this situtation yet, but he did when he was getting attention when hired at Co. He said the maistream media doesn't want to see a successful black coach in the major conferences and represents everything they despise because of his skin tone, I said BS then and say it now. The only thing that matters is wins

... i was never a Deion fan.. But since him coaching at Jackson St and Colorado he changed my view, see what hes done with the kids from jackson st to colorado has seemed very impactful on a lot of them and all his players have had nothing but great things to say.. know tons dont agree on here ive seen that. Guess he burned his chances forever as a player for most.. I think it says a lot that Hunter turned down Florida St to go play at jackson then could of transferred about anywhere im sure but followed him to Colorado

Shedeur Sander's worst enemy is Shedeur and Deion Sanders. Their reputations precede them. Shedure has taken Deions reputation and amped it up to astronomical heights, even higher than his dads rep.

IMO, the NFL teams that passed over Shedure passed over him because of the baggage and circus sideshow that is attached to Shedure. They wouldn't be drafting just Shedure, it would be a package deal with Deion in the background guiding his son on how to play for whatever team he ended up with. I imagine the Browns are in for a crap show.

Racism shmaycism......the Sanders clan is getting clicks so it's all good. I think Shedeur is in a good position to prove the cow really will eat the cabbage. Nothing left but to do or die. Daddy can't help or hurt at this point. As they say....."proof is in the puddin". I hope he beats all the QB's out.

Not only that there's Lamar, Hurts, Dak, Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, etc, etc... And how about all the black TV personalities/sports pundits, yet they have the nerve to play the race card.

seems no one ever makes it out of cleveland so he has a tough task for sure! Baker barely did and hes doing alright now.. Im ready to see what hes got, may be a bust as all are saying but hes getting a chance, aside from all his "ego" and everything else i think hes got great talent and it took my a long time to say that but he impressed me more and more watching him

Going to have to earn it for sure. Ol Flacco still in the game, hats off to him. Great leadership on the sideline no matter if hes starting or not. Cant believe they still have Deshaun Watson, hes probably thanking God they drafted Shedeur to give him a break from the headlines

Flacco is no spring chicken at 40 years old but his experience is worth keeping him around. Watson is just happy to be there

But also... he wasn't a great college QB. Sure, good numbers, but he throws when guys are open, he doesn't throw to spots in anticipation of guys getting open. HUGE difference and does not translate well to NFL.

I'm sure the Browns were not his dream destination, but he actually has a pretty good chance to succeed there. Deshaun Watson is hurt and won't play again this year. Joe Flacco is just a placeholder at 40 years old. The Browns just declined the option on Kenny Pickett's contract so he isn't part of their future plans. That leaves the real competition for the #2 spot to just Sanders and Gabriel. They are somewhat similar, not real big or athletic, but good accurate passers. They may not have star potential but could be decent NFL quarterbacks. As they say, may the best man win.
