    Question Help with Butt seat mod

    Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop seat from spinning on a pedestal??

    The only thing I would know to do is drill a hole through the large diameter portion of the pedestal and then through the smaller section of the pedestal and install a steel pin through both.

    If I understand correctly.
    Remove the seat from the post and put liquid nail very liberally down in the top of the post and reinsert the seat. Lay it down so it doesn’t move for at least 24hrs and it should be glued together.

    A slight modification on that. Drill through the outside tube (pedal stool) half way until you feel it go through the open part of it. Thread that hole and add a bolt to it. You’d be able to tighten it down and lock it in place, but also have it be able to swivel if you loosen the bolt. You could probably find a paddle head bolt/screw that you could use your fingers instead of a wrench.
