I have a 2019 Infinity QX80. So far it's been great. It's always thirsty though.

The 5.6 V8, transmission and the rest of the drivetrain is pretty solid. The do go through front end parts somewhat quickly though. Overall I would recommend one. They are a better option than the Ford, GM and Chrysler SUVs of that era.

I would not expect any problems on a vehicle that young. When I was in the market for a full size SUV that was on my radar and always far lower cost then the same year Sequoia. I checked around with one owner and my local mechanic and decided to pony up the coin for the gen 2 sequoia as I keep my vehicles a long time. I don't recall any specific issues called out in the older years but should be some online sources you can find.

My son had one. It had a small issues for a higher end vehicle. And it surely wouldn't pass a gas station. He got rid of it after a year and half or so.

Wife has a 2020 and loves it. It's. It's been flawless so far with 45k miles. Not sure about today but compared to other manufacturers her Nissan lags behind on tech but otherwise it's a great vehicle. The only negative I've seen so far is when hitting rough patches of road the rear end gets a little skittish. Like most Nissan V8s it absolutely sucks on mileage. City driving around 13-15 might. Highway driving, 18-21 mpg. Plenty of power tho
