Why add premium plus to gas on Prox Xs?

    Serial # 2B016777
    2014 Proxs 250 HP

Presently using Prem Plus. What is the reason to add Prem Plus at 150:1 ratio directly to the gas? I have read it's good for the injectors. Is it because the gas that goes through the injectors isn't mixed with the oil yet?

it doesnt mix on an opti , the oil added in the fuel lubricates the fuel system and helps to soften deposits so the cleaners can dissolve them , its good for the whole system

To protect the injectors at shutdown, direct quote from this FAQ topic - Oil, Battery, Spark Plugs, Fuel and Fuel Additive Recommendations

This has been proven to benefit fuel system components by providing additional lubrication ONLY to the fuel system components (especially the direct injectors- which are often left DRY after engine shutdown).
